About Me / Contact Info

kathryn a frazier blog

I was born at a very young age.

Since that time, I became a Christian, and I studied the Bible at Tampa Bay Bible College and cross-cultural communication at the New Tribes Institute in Kentucky. I married my beshert (destiny), and together we raised and homeschooled our five children.

I’ve been writing and editing professionally since 2007. My work has been published and re-published over 500 times in both print and online media. I’m a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and have a copyediting certification from Writer’s Digest University (an online workshop).

I celebrate Biblical holidays, Christian holidays, civil holidays, birthdays, Fridays, a great cup of coffee, and pretty much anything else. At any given time, I’m probably planning a party.

In my spare time, I read style guides for fun, and I crochet for charity, for gifts, and for relaxation.

I live with my husband, our three youngest (adult) children, and my beloved dog in Tampa, Florida. It’s hot here. And swampy. With gators. I’m really brave.

Mr. Scruffy Pants gets annoyed when I take pictures while he’s sleeping. I do it anyway. He’s not the boss of me.

  1. Thanks for following my blog! I noticed we follow the same blogs. You really need to check out themerrymomma.com. We seem to be on the same wavelength only at different seasons of life. My last child will marry in September. She has a preschooler and a toddler.

  2. I will check that out. Thank you for the recommendation–and for the comment. I’m in the process of rebooting my whole online presence, so page views will be hit-and-miss for a week or so. Maybe our seasons are closer than you think. My two oldest children are married. I’m not a grandma yet, but I would love that!

Edit: Okay, the rebooting is taking longer than expected, due to me dragging my feet and not giving my web designer what he needs to do his job. Bear with me.

  4. Hi Kathy, I am in need of editing services. I am a Christian writer. I found a stylus pen with your name on it at my Fellowship of Christian Writers Group. I’m going to send you a Facebook friend request if I can find you. This is my 2nd book: Giftitude. My writing is a lot better when I employ an editor. I’m trying to self-publish. Hope to hear from you real soon! My books are short non-fiction but I have a lot of them in my heart to write! Blessings, Edie Frink Winters, author of Victim to Victor. Tulsa, OK

    • Hi Edie,
I’m afraid I’ve gotten behind in updating this site, and I didn’t see your comment right away. I am always happy to meet another Christian writer!
I found you on Facebook and sent you a friend request. You can also email me directly at kathryn.writes @ hotmail.com.
